El Charrúa restaurant
Grilled meats are the thing here, with an excellent Galician/Spanish wine list and dessert menu playing a strong supporting role.
A solid meat-and-red-wine kind of place.
Centrally located at Calle de la Estrella 6, this lively grill restaurant specialises in meat dishes and cuts such as sirloin, tenderloin, ribs, Galician beef ribeye, steak tartare, beef carpaccio, and so on. Its warm, high-design dining room is also a welcoming place to sample a variety of salads, roast veggies, and homemade desserts, with impeccable attention to detail. The wine list features reds from Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Ribeira Sacra, Toro, Somotano, Catalan Priorat, as well as whites of Rías Baixas, Rueda, and Valdeorras.
