A train will take you to discover all the secrets of this typical neighbourhood while you marvel at its mansions and cars.
The most eye-catching mansions in Beverly Hills.
The famous ‘90s series ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ showed the whole world the high standard of living in this exclusive American residential area. It is not unusual to see all kinds of sports cars on the streets, but the most spectacular feature is undoubtedly the mansions. There are several ways to tour the streets, but one of the most recommended is the Beverly Hills Trolley (www.beverlyhills.org/exploring/trolleytours), a small train that spends 40 minutes taking you round the houses most representative of the area, including those of major Hollywood stars. The journey begins at the corner of Rodeo Drive and Dayton Way, one of the epicentres of fashion and glamour in the area. The first points of interest are Spadena House, at 516 Walden Drive, and Virginia Robinson’s house, at 108 Elden Way. The latter building, dating from 1911, is the oldest in the area and its gardens can be visited by appointment. Another of the most interesting stops is 905 Loma Vista Drive. There you will find the Greystone Park Mansion, a building with more than 50 rooms, surrounded by incredible greenery, fountains and swimming pools. Spectacular!
