This museum isn't only worth visiting for the works on exhibition… Go to the top of the tower and you'll see why!
Do you like sacred art?
A visit to Murcia cathedral is one of the most intriguing places in the city, so we'll give you some tips that'll help you get the most out of this place. First of all, we recommend you to visit the cathedral's museum, which is located in the magnificent cloisters of this building, and possesses the largest collection of sacred art in the region with works from the Italian Trecento and also by the famous sculptor Salzillo. Besides this, and leaving the visit to the cathedral aside, we recommend you to go to the top of the tower, as you'll see la sala de los secretos (the room of secrets), the chapel, and el balcón de los conjuros (the balcony of the conjuration) which are debated to have been made between the Renaissance and Baroque eras, and of course you'll arrive at the top where you'll see some of the most impressive panoramic views over the city.
