A family tradition
What started as a family run restaurant has now become one of Medellín's symbols when it comes to eating. As its name suggests, Mondongo's has been offering diners the finest homemade recipes since 1976 with Colombian ingredients that are as carefully prepared as they are effective. There's no place for frills in this restaurant, you come here to enjoy the typical Mondongo, which is a delicious stew made with beef offal, to filling and combined dishes that mix a large piece of grilled meat with the best local produce. All dishes include tasty avocados, some slices of tomato or a banana which is used to contrast flavours, and create some excellent dishes.
