From Italian fashion to small artisan shops, there is room for everything in this picturesque street
Welcome to Rome's High Street
The Via del Corso is the backbone of Rome, it is a street running from Piazza Spagna to Piazza Venezia. It is also the lifeline of the shopping area in Rome. Here, on the same street, you will find a curious combination of small handicraft shops, together with the premises of the top luxury brands in the world. There is room for everyone. Via Condotti, Via Frattina and Via Bocca branch off this street: synonym of luxury and exclusivity. Brands like Gucci, Prada or Louis Vuitton are scattered along both sides of the street. It is said that it all began in 1905, with the inauguration of the first Bulgari store. This attracted the city's upper classes to shop in this area and the rest of the shops followed the trend turning this triangle of streets into the most exclusive fashion area in Rome.
