Nature up north
Ibiza's more northerly areas are more hilly and offer an impressive variety of ecosystems rather different from the rest of the island, and the Es Amunts reserve takes up nearly a quarter of this region, from Sant Antonio to Sant Carles. Its centrepiece is the small patch (150 square metres/1,615 sq. feet) making up the Centre d'Interpretació Es Amunts d'Eivissa. Here you'll find a botanical garden, along with indoor displays, showcasing the area's flora and fauna; spots of particular interest; architectural highlights; and geographic features including cliffs, beaches, and forests.
