Casa de los Tres Mundos
This initiative promotes reading, theatre and art
Arts and culture
Those spending an evening in monumental Granada might be lucky enough to catch a play or local dance exhibition at the Casa de los Tres Mundos. The antique Casa de los Leones is a Colonial building, acquired by the Tres Mundos foundation to promote the city's cultural endeavours; after the devastation caused by Hurricane Mitch in 1999, this initiative, which houses a drama school, an academy of music and art, as well as a library and research centre for underprivileged children, emerged. In addition to a permanent exhibition of works by local and national artists, concerts, exhibitions, plays and film screenings are offered here. Make sure you don't miss out!
