Very old, very impressive.
This was the first railway station built in the city and in the entire Russian Empire. Located on Zagorodny Avenue, it was officially opened on 30 October 1837 by Czar Nicholas I. Konstantin Thon, who was the official Imperial architect during the reign of Nicholas I, was responsible for its design.
