Saturday mornings, this is the place to browse for local foods and handicrafts
A town and its open-air market
Every Saturday morning, the centre of the town of Haría is invaded by foodies and shoppers thanks to the open-air Mercado de Artesanía held in the Plaza León y Castillo. It's acclaimed for its focus on products manufactured on Lanzarote, such as cheese, farm products, and liqueurs, as well as non-comestibles such as palm basketry, aloe vera cosmetics, and a variety of craft items created from glass, wax, wood, and leather.
