One of the internationally well-known Peruvian chefs, Anthony Vásquez, is in charge of the innovative dishes that 'La Mar Cebichería' offers you but are not suitable for those who are allergic to seafood, which is their main speciality. Just like their ancestors, the chefs in this restaurant prefer local produce; they are in direct contact with farmers and fishermen from the area who take fresh produce to their kitchen, directly from the vegetable patch and the sea. Their recipes also cover the gastronomic varieties of the region with seafood casseroles, the typical Peruvian 'tiraditos' (raw fish) and 'ajíes' (pepper) with potatoes and rices that are always strongly spicy. 'Los cebiches' (marinated fish or seafood) are the house speciality and they are not the only choice: they also offer typical soups such as the 'Levantamuertos', grilled food, appetizers for sharing, various rice dishes, pastas and traditional drinks of Peru like the 'pisco sour' cocktail.
