On the shores of the Mediterranean, in the middle of a bay surrounded by mountain ranges, the Andalusian city of Malaga boasts a spectacular location. Renowned for its excellent climate and proximity to the Costa del Sol beaches, the city is also the birthplace of Picasso and one of the oldest cities in Europe, founded by the Phoenicians in 8 BC.

Two of Malaga’s must-see places are Picasso’s Birth House and the Malaga Picasso Museum, which houses 285 works by the brilliant painter.
