High-Speed WiFi Service

How to connect

  • Above 10,000 feet, switch on your device in flight mode, and join the "Iberia Wi-Fi" network.

  • Open your browser and the Iberia page will open.

  • Choose an Internet plan or identify yourself in the Wi-Fi portal for free access if you are flying in Business Class.

  • If you have any questions, please contact us in Iberia.com through our customer service channel: http://www.iberia.com/es/relaciones-cliente/

The price will depend on your destination. Once you are on board, connect to the Iberia Wi-Fi network and decide which the best Wi-Fi plan is for you.

We recommend to deactivate automatic updates on your device if you want to control your consumption.

The service has global coverage, however as it is a satellite connection, the signal may be reduced at certain points throughout the flight.

Do you need more information?

How does the Internet connection via the Wi-Fi network work?

It is a satellite service that consists of data transfer. The plans we offer you are based on MB volume consumption or time.

What devices can you use to log onto the aircraft’s Wi-Fi network?

All devices that have a Wi-Fi connection; however, we recommend limiting laptop usage due to the high data consumption required.

When can I log onto the aircraft’s Wi-Fi network?

The service is available over 10.000 feet. This means after the take-off and when the seatbelt signal has been switched off.

What is the name of the aircraft’s Wi-Fi network?

The Wi-Fi network will appear on your device as “Iberia Wi-Fi”.

Is the Wi-Fi network available throughout the aircraft?

Yes, all passengers travelling either in Business, Economy or premium Economy can connect to the Wi-Fi network.

What download speed does the service offer?

The speed will depend on the device used and the number of people connected at the same time; for that reason we cannot guarantee a minimum connection speed. We recommend against logging on with laptops or devices that require a large bandwidth.

Why has the connection been interrupted or is not available?

This can occur during any phase of the flight because Internet access depends on the satellite coverage, the air space you are flying over and the aircraft altitude.

How can I control the consumption of MB or the time that I am connected?

You can check the homepage at any time, which will show you how many MB you have used and how many you have left under your chosen plan. We recommend you use apps you have already downloaded and don’t transfer large files.

How is the service paid for?

It is just like any other form of online shopping. Enter your credit card details as detailed when you open the browser.

If I have a promo code or my ticket includes free Wi-Fi, how can I use it?

Choose the Plan that suits you best and enter the code. If the chosen Plan is higher than your code you will have to enter your credit card information.

I require a bill for the service. How do I get it?

When you register you must include an email address. When the session ends we will send the summary of your consumption and your total bill to that address.
If you do not receive this information, please contact the customer care service through the following web page:http://www.iberia.com/es/relaciones-cliente/

What flights is the service available on?
