After a long day roaming around town who wouldn't appreciate a dining spot where quantity doesn't have to spar with quality on the plate and you always need to leave room for dessert. On Rue Paradis near the Vieux Port, Le Julien is that spot, a cozy, welcoming eatery whose homemade foie gras has become so locally famous it's even available as take-out. The restaurant also sells sommelier-curated cases of wine that make exquisitely sophisticated gifts (for others or yourself!). Besides that yummy foie gras and other tasty small plates, there's an extensive cheese menu, as well as Provençal and French classics such as sweetbreads with morel cream and sirloin steak with Roquefort sauce.
