Local cuisine with direct views of 'Huaca Pucllana' and its adobe pyramids. An entire show for your senses.
To dine surrounded by history.
If you want to sample the typical Peruvian cuisine in its surroundings of one the sacred sites of the fifth century, the best time of day to do so is at nightfall when the sun sets over centuries of history and land, while 'Huaca Pucllana' is left illuminated. The restaurant with the same name is located inside the site and you can daydream while you eat, either in the terrace or through the windows while you look out over the adobe pyramids where the ancestors of Lima used to go and consult the oracle and sacerdotal predictions. It's in your interest to book in advance for dining at 'Huaca Pucllana' and you can check to see if the nocturnal guides are still available which offer to take you walking around the ruins at a high price. The typical dishes range from the classic Peruvian braised ceviche, through to 'ají de gallina a la antigua' (a chicken dish).
