Two very different scenes, one dominated by students, the other more orientated toward young professionals
Another pair of excellent after-dark districts
We've already covered Valencia's two most prominent nightlife districts, El Carme and Russafa, but if you're looking for more, we have at least another pair for you. Over near the university, the streets between Plaza del Cedro and Avinguda d'Aragó are mainly the preserve of the college-aged (and not just locals, but foreign students, as well, especially since Valencia is a prime destination for Europe's Erasmus study-abroad programme). A little more upmarket and young-professional-oriented, the Marina Real district is over on the beachfront, where a string of appealing restaurants and watering holes offer not just great drinks and eats, but a fun atmosphere overlooking the shining sea.
