If you like baseball, don’t miss visiting Chicago Cubs’ stadium and seeing its distinctive outfield wall.
The ultimate American sport.
In this historic stadium, built in 1914, lovers of baseball will find a place to learn about and enjoy the ultimate American sport. Situated in Addison Street and with a capacity of over 41,000, it is the home of the Chicago Cubs and is characterized by its green, ivy-covered outfield walls. Although it has been called Weeghman, and, simply, Cubs, it was in 1936 when the Wrigley family bought the team, that the ground acquired its current name in honour of the team’s owner. If you are a Chicago Cubs fan we recommend that you take the tour which costs $25 where you can learn about their history with a visit to the changing rooms, press room and playing area. Don’t worry if there is a match on the day you visit because, before the match you can lilterally step up to the plate and enjoy the pre-match atmosphere.
