A visit to this building is a must when in New York. The New York Stock Exchange building is located at the intersection of Broad Street and Wall Street, and is easily recognisable by the enormous American flag hanging from its façade. From the start of its activity in the late 19th and early 20th century, the Stock Exchange has played a vital role in the development of the global economy. After a visit here, it is well worth exploring the rest of the area, which offers a lot to see. Discover the importance of each building to really get the feel for this area. Just steps away, in front of the Federal Hall, is the George Washington statue. From here, you can go down to Bowling Green and see the Wall Street ‘Charging Bull’, a statue representing this district. Along the way, you will come across the country’s most important banking and business buildings.
