The District of Triana

Wandering around and getting lost.

The best thing about this district, which is by the banks of the Guadalquivir River is to get lost around its streets. That's when you'll really find some shops that'll surprise you. But what you mustn't neglect in this district are its markets like the 'Mercado de Triana' (next to the Triana Bridge), with its food stalls, crafts and places which offer very tasty tapas, and the 'Mercado de Manuel Arellano' or the 'Mercado de San Gonzalo' (in the plaza of 'San Martín'), where the quality of their food is worth going along for, even though they don't attract as much attention. You'll also find a variety of good furniture shops in the district of Triana, where you can also buy items of wicker furniture. You'll also see several jewellery and clothes shops as you're exploring 'Triana'.
