If you're passionate about chocolate, don't miss the chocolate ice cream at Dylan's. Delicious!
A refreshing snack.
One of the best places to stop off during an afternoon stroll is one of the many ice cream parlours found across the city. Argentina’s love of ice cream is comparable to that of Italy, where this culinary delight originated. The variety offered is overwhelming, due to the signature flavours created in each artisanal parlour. Sample some of the delicious flavours on the street terraces and enjoy the view. If you’re in San Telmo, head to Dylan parlour on Peru Street and sample their Patagonian chocolate ice cream, or La Abuela Goye on Florida Street, which boasts over sixty flavours. Further north, in the central Recoleta zone, you will find Arkakao, one of the most popular places for locals due to their hand-made creamy, uniquely flavoured and refined ice creams. You will, however, find many other ice cream parlours dotted around the city, all offering a delicious variety of unique flavours.
