It has planes from World War II, a large number of models and a flight simulator.
Not to be missed
If you are a fan of the world of aviation, you will have a lot of fun here. The Phoenix Air Museum has a really interesting collection of aeroplanes from the Second World War up to the present day, such as a Stearman PT-17, a Beechcraft C-45 and a Douglas C-47B, as well as a large displays of objects related to this glamorous world, such as flying suits and aeroplane engines. It also has a large number of scale models, a collection which is gradually increasing, and a flight simulator allowing visitors to experience what it feels like to be in the cockpit. It also has a section specializing in trains which is home to several steam trains from the beginning of the last century and a stunning model railway covering an area of 45 square metres which is very realistic and reputed to be the third largest in the world. Impressive!
