Breathtaking beaches on the country's northernmost coast.
Eighty-seven miles from Havana, on the same coast, this paradise located in the province of Matanzas is the island's northernmost point. Expect the most beautiful and paradisiacal beaches you can find in all of Cuba: white sand and crystal clear waters, and not just for swimming, but also a multitude of marine activities: diving, snorkeling, jet skis, windsurfing and a long etcetera. It is true that most of its appeal is the beach; however, there are other places to visit. We recommend Casa Dupont or Casa de las Américas, Bellamar Cave, Saturno Cave, and very close, south of Matanzas, the Zapata Swamp.
