This is the heart of Managua's commercial activity
An all-in-one experience
Constructed in 1974 by the Salvadorian Grupo Roble, and expanded in subsequent refurbishments, the Metrocentre shopping centre is one of the Nicaraguan capital's most distinguished shopping destinations. The shopping centre incorporated a hotel in 1998, while the third phase of work, carried out in 2004, completed the construction of the shopping centre, which currently has 25,000 m2 of commercial spaces and a two-storey car park. The Metrocentre's hundred-plus establishment includes commercial leaders, such as Siman, Tiendas Carrión and La Curacao, as well as a six-screen cinema that shows the newest box office releases. It is estimated that approximately four million visitors come to this shopping centre every year.
