Excursion to the Ouzoud waterfalls

They are considered the country's tallest waterfalls

If you want to relax with good views and a little hiking in paradisical surroundings, then set a day aside for a getaway to the Ouzoud waterfalls, the country's highest and most beautiful. They are located around 150 kilometres from Marrakesh and the waterfall reaches up to 110-110 metres high in certain points. It name, of Berber origin, can be translated as "olive". Such a name will put you on the trail of this type of natural tree. Once there, don't hesitate to visit the old windmills that you will see above the waterfalls. You can also grab a snack at of the terraces with views. Don't be surprised at the amount of tourists there as this is one of the most visited attractions of central Morocco. Let yourself be enchanted by the orchards and verdant valleys or the circuit that will take you to the nearby vertiginous gorges of the River El Abid.
