Inaugurated in 2007 after years of work and discoveries, the Almoina Archaeological Centre is where Valencia essentially began, from Roman Valentia more than 2,000 years ago. Along the way, Visigoths and Arabs also left their mark, creating the unique blend of cultures that define the city. Highlights include the grandiose ancient baths, among the oldest in the world.
