Ticket issuing fees

Transactions carried out entirely through iberia.com are free of charge. However, if you buy, change or request a refund for a ticket through our Bookings Offices, an additional service fee may apply for each ticket and process made.
These charges are non-refundable, unless the request is due to a situation attributable to Iberia.

To calculate the final amount, please note the following:

• Country of purchase: The amount varies depending on the country from which you buy the ticket. If this is not listed in the table below (see charges table), the process will be free of charge.

• Individual ticket: This charge applies per ticket and is charged individually to each member of the booking.

• Flight type:

  • Short haul: Flights within Spanish territory and routes between Spain and Europe or North Africa.

  • Long haul: Flights between Spain and destinations in America or Asia.

• Purchase channel: The final price depends on the channel used. If you start the process on the website but complete it by phone or in person, the rate for that non-digital channel will apply.

• Tickets purchased with Avios: you can check the table of service fees for tickets with Avios.

¹ Corporate card charge: For purchases on iberia.com in Germany, Canada, Denmark, Slovenia, Finland, Ireland, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland, the United Kingdom and the Czech Republic, a surcharge of 0.9% to 3% per passenger applies (max. 35 EUR / 30 GBP in the United Kingdom).
Exemptions: Tickets with Avios and additional services (changes, seats, baggage, etc.).

³ Colombia: The issuance fees will be calculated based on the value of each ticket purchased. If a single booking includes more than one ticket, the calculation will be made individually for each one, and not on the total value of the booking.

⁴ A service fee of 6 EUR applies on the following routes under Public Service Obligation (OSP):

The charges for purchase and change of tickets (including OSP routes) retain the statutory discounts. The discount is applied directly to the final price for large families on all domestic routes within Spain, and for residents on authorised journeys in the Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Ceuta and Melilla, provided the ticket does not include connections to international flights. Both discounts are fully combinable if both requirements are met.

Fee table for tickets with Avios

These charges apply to the purchase of tickets with Avios by phone. 

Customers with exclusive benefits:

No service fee will be charged to holders of the following Iberia Club levels:

• Infinita and Infinita Prime

• Platinum and Platinum Prime

• Singular

This benefit applies to the holder's tickets, those of their companions in the same booking and any ticket purchased with Avios from the account.
