Will you join me? Welcome to Buenos Aires. It's 8:30 in the morning here. We're going to rest for a while at the hotel and soon we'll set off to visit the city. Although Buenos Aires is full of monuments you shouldn't miss, today I'm going to tell you about lesser-known plans that I love doing every time I come to the city. San Nicolás neighbourhood, Buenos Aires We start the day by visiting one of the largest cultural centres in the world. It was previously the post office, but the best thing is that all its activities are free. San Telmo, Buenos Aires Gastronomy in Buenos Aires is not limited to asado. There are choripán, milanesa, alfajores, dulce de leche. If you like food, you'll find everything in this market. Corrientes Street. Buenos Aires One of the typical plans among locals is coming to the theatre and eating some pizzas. If you like the idea, Corrientes Street is the place for you. Right next door, you'll find an old theatre turned into one of the city's most special bookshops. And Buenos Aires is one of the cities with the most bookshops per capita in the world. Palermo Soho, Buenos Aires We are in Palermo Soho, one of the most picturesque neighbourhoods in Buenos Aires. If you visit the city at the weekend, there's a fair here that you shouldn't miss. It's also the ideal neighbourhood for finding bars, pubs and shops. In Buenos Aires there are lots of tango shows, but my favourites are the ones you come across in the street. You never know where you'll see people dancing.
Night falls, and I can't think of a better plan than watching the sunset from a sailboat. A plan that's not so conventional and one you can easily book. We say goodbye to Buenos Aires, see you in Madrid.
