GETTING ELITE POINTS AND AVIOS

For each flight you take with Cathay Pacific you can obtain:

  • Avios, a credit that builds up in your Iberia Plus balance, exchangeable for flights and other opportunities offered by the Program.

  • Elite Points, a credit obtained exclusively for flights and which determines whether elite card levels should be kept and/or accessed.

The award of Avios for direct flights with code CX and operated by a oneworld alliance company is determined by the real distance flown in miles and flight class (cabin bonus).

  • Iberia reserves the right to modify these tables.

  • Iberia reserves the right to exclude tariffs from the receipt of Elite Points and Avios. Check the general programme conditions

  • Codeshare flights booked with the code of a carrier associated to Iberia but operated by a company not associated to Iberia do not meet the requirements for the award of Avios and Elite Points.

  • Iberia reserves the right to modify this Avios use table.

  • Booking and issue of tickets charged to your Avios for Cathay Pacific are exempt from booking fees, but only if made through Iberia.com. There will be an additional charge per ticket when the booking is made through its Service Center (except for Platinum clients, who are exempt).

  • The class Full Economy is only available in combination with flights with Iberia Group.
