Avianca represents the Latin American airlines integrated into Avianca Holdings S.A. At Avianca, they specialize in the transport of passengers and cargo, directly serving more than 108 destinations in 26 countries in America and Europe aboard a modern short, medium and long haul fleet of 189 aircraft.

Another advantage of the codeshare and frequent flyer agreements with Avianca is that it will allow you to enjoy the benefits of your Iberia Plus card and earn Avios on Avianca flights that you can then redeem for flights and leisure experiences.

GETTING  AVIOS

For each flight you take with Avianca you can obtain:

  • Avios, a credit that builds up in your Iberia Plus balance, exchangeable for flights and other opportunities offered by the Program.

Iberia Plus holders can accumulate Avios for flights with codeshare between Iberia and Avianca. For flights of Avianca and Taca only, they accrue for the following routes:

  • Flights operated by AV within Colombia.

  • Flights operated by TA within Central America.

  • AV flights between Spain and Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Central America.

  • Routes planned or implemented within the codeshare agreement.

  • Iberia reserves the right to modify this Avios use table.

  • Booking and issue of tickets charged to your Avios for flights operated by and with code AV are exempt from booking fees but only if made through their Call Center.

  • The class Full Economy is only available in combination with flights with Iberia Group.
