How to get to the airport: The airport is connected by road via the Grande Raccordo Anulare (GRA) bypass and the A91 motorway. There are two railway services that run to the airport: the Leonardo Expresso and the Orte Fara Sabina - Fiumicino (FM1) line. There are many express buses, such as Terravision, Cotral, Sit Bus, Tam and Atral Shiaffini, which connect the airport with the city centre. The taxi rank is in front of the terminal exits.

How to get to the city: There is no connection between the airport and city centre via bus so access must be either by car, taxi or private transport companies that take travellers through the highways surrounding the airport. There are plans for a railway line.

Terminals: The airport has two passenger terminals for both domestic flights (South Terminal) and international flights (North Terminal). There are plans to build a much larger new airport.
