Fare flexibility due to railway accident in Andalusia
Due to the tragic railway accident that occurred on 18 January, Iberia has implemented the following measures to facilitate mobility for citizens on routes with origin/destination in Andalusia:

If you are flying up to 2 February 2026, from or to Madrid and with final destination/origin Seville, Málaga, Almería, Granada and Jerez on flights operated by Iberia, and you purchased your ticket directly on our website or through our Reservations Offices by 19 January 2026, you may change your travel date to fly up to 28 February 2026. If you purchased your ticket through a travel agency, please contact them to modify your booking.

Customers holding a train ticket to Madrid with a connecting flight to any destination within the Iberia network may also change their travel date or request a refund in the form of a voucher.
