    How can I earn Avios?

    COLLECT AVIOS AND ELITE POINTS

    For each flight you take with a Finnair (AY) code, you can collect:

    • Avios, the currency you accumulate in your balance to redeem for flights, accommodation, car hire, leisure experiences, and more.

    • Elite Points which you use to move up or maintain your level in Iberia Club. They also grant access to Elite Rewards, exclusive gifts that you obtain along the way to a new level.

     

    COLLECT AVIOS

    Collect Avios on direct flights with a Finnair (AY) code is based on the following criteria:

    • The actual distance flown is based in miles and the flight class (Cabin).

    • Minimum Avios (by eligible class).

    • Card tier (Platino Prime, Platino, Oro, and Plata).

    PLATINO PRIME, PLATINO, ORO AND PLATA

    Platino Prime, Platino, Oro and Plata cardholders receive additional Avios based on their card level on all flights with a Finnair (AY) code.

    • Platino Prime: 25%

    • Platino: 25%

    • Oro: 15%

    • Plata: 10%

    This is applied by multiplying your percentage by the actual distance of miles flown for Full Economy and Business classes, per flight.
    For Discount Economy classes, it is applied by multiplying your percentage by the amount of basic Avios (excluding promotions) collected for the flight, per each flight.

     

    COLLECT ELITE POINTS

    Collect Elite Points on direct flights with an Finnair (AY) code will depend on the booking class and the distance, in miles, per flight.

    • Iberia reserves the right to modify this Avios award chart.

    • Booking and issue of tickets charged to your Avios for Finnair (AY) flights are exempt from booking fees, but only if made through Iberia.com.
      There will be an additional charge per ticket when the booking is made through its Service Center (except for Platinum clients, who are exempt).

    • Premium Economy class is only available in combination with flights with Iberia Group.
