    LATAM Airlines Group is the largest airline group in Latin America and one of the leading groups worldwide. The company connects 142 destinations in 27 countries, through a network that spans across the Americas, Europe, Oceania, and Africa, operating transcontinental and regional routes.

    The group has a fleet of 372 aircraft, made up of Boeing 787, 777 and 767, Airbus A320neo and A321neo, and Embraer E195-E2, which enables efficient operations for both long-haul and regional and domestic flights.

    How can I earn Avios?

    Step 1

    Enter your Iberia Club card number when you book your flight or when you check in.

    Step 2

    Flown with LATAM in the last 6 months and the Avios are not yet in your account? You have up to six months from the date of your flight to claim them by clicking here.

    EARNING ELITE POINTS AND AVIOS

    From the flights you take with LATAM you will be able to earn:

    • Avios, the currency you accumulate in your balance to redeem for flights, accommodation, car hire, leisure experiences, and more.

    • Elite Points which you use to move up or maintain your level in Iberia Club. They also grant access to Elite Rewards, exclusive gifts that you obtain along the way to a new level.

     

    EARNING AVIOS

    Earning Avios on direct flights with a LATAM (LA) code is based on the following criteria:

    • The actual distance flown is based in miles and the flight class (Cabin).

    • Card tier (Platino Prime, Platino, Oro, and Plata)

    PLATINO PRIME, PLATINO, ORO AND PLATA

    Platino Prime, Platino, Oro and Plata cardholders receive additional Avios based on their card level on all flights with a LATAM (LA) code.

    • Platino Prime: 120%

    • Platino: 100%

    • Oro: 80%

    • Plata: 20%

    This is applied by multiplying your percentage by the actual distance of miles flown for Full Economy, Premium Economy and Business class, per flight.
    For Economy and Economy Discounted classes, it is applied by multiplying your percentage by the amount of basic Avios (excluding promotions) earned per each flight.

     

    EARNING ELITE POINTS

    Elite Points will depend on the booking class and the distance, in miles, per each flight.

    NOTES FOR AVIOS AND ELITE POINTS:

    • Flights with the LATAM code (LA) operated by Iberia, LATAM Airlines Group, LATAM Airlines Brazil, LATAM Airlines Peru, LATAM Airlines Colombia, and LATAM Airlines Ecuador are valid for earning Avios.

    • All flights with the LATAM code (LA) operated by Iberia are valid for earning Elite Points.

    • For flights with the LATAM code (LA) operated by LATAM Airlines Group, LATAM Airlines Brazil, LATAM Airlines Peru, LATAM Airlines Colombia, and LATAM Airlines Ecuador, only direct flights between Europe and Latin America are valid for earning Elite Points.

    • Flights booked with a LATAM code and operated by an airline that is not one of the aforementioned carriers are not eligible to earn Avios or Elite Points.

    • Iberia reserves the right to modify these charts.

    • Iberia reserves the right to exclude fares from the earning of Elite Points and Avios.

    The Avios will depend on the booking class and the local distance in miles.

     

    Notes:

    • Iberia reserves the right to modify this Avios use table.

    • Booking and issue of tickets charged to your Avios for LAN flights are exempt from booking fees, but only if made through Iberia.com.
      There will be an additional charge per ticket when the booking is made through its Service Center (except for Platinum clients, who are exempt).

    • For flights including two (Iberia Group and British Airways not included) or more oneworld alliance carriers, please see the Avios use table for oneworld here.

    • The class Full Economy is only available in combination with flights with Iberia Group.
