How to get to the airport: To travel from the airport to the city, it is recommended to use the BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) public transport and the Transcarioca and Transcarioca Express lines. There is also a special bus service, lines 2018, 2101, 2145, 2918 and 1001 (761 and 760) and a regular bus service, lines 925, 915, 9232 and 924. The Vicente Carvallo metro station connects with the BRT express heading towards the airport. There are shared and cooperative taxis.
