Strike call by one of the ground handling service companies at Madrid–Barajas Airport
We inform our customers that, due to the strike called by one of the ground handling service companies at Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport on 23, 26 and 30 December 2025, and 2 and 7 January 2026, which is beyond Iberia’s control, some flights may be subject to delays.
In this context, customers travelling on those dates to or from Madrid on flights operated by Iberia, Iberia Express or Iberia Regional Air Nostrum, who purchased their tickets directly through our websites or our Customer Service Centre before 20 December 2025, may change their booking to travel on any other date up to 15 January 2026.
Customers who purchased their tickets through a travel agency should contact the agency directly to manage any changes to their booking.

Bad weather conditions over Amsterdam
As a result of the adverse weather conditions on Amsterdam, some of our flights may be affected:
In view of this situation beyond Iberia's control, if you are flying until 4 January, 2026 from /to Amsterdam on flights operated by Iberia, Iberia Express and Iberia Regional Air Nostrum and you have purchased your ticket directly on our websites or our Call Center until 2 January, you have the possibility to rebook an other flight, for the same route or up to 300 km distance, until 15 january 2026, in the equivalent class or lower. If you have purchased your ticket to travel with us from a travel agency, you must contact them to change your booking.

Flight flexibility due to the situation in Caracas
Due to recent events in the city of Caracas, we are issuing this flexibility policy for customers who need to change their travel plans.
If you are flying until February 28, 2026, with origin/destination Caracas on flights operated by Iberia, and you purchased your ticket directly on our website or through Serviberia up to December 23, 2025, you may change the date of your booking to travel until March 30, 2026. If you purchased your ticket to travel with us through a travel agency, you must contact them to modify your booking.
