Earthquake in northern Venezuela
Due to the earthquake in northern Venezuela, Caracas airport remains closed and some of our flights may be affected between 25 June and 25 July 2026.
Today’s flight and the flight scheduled for tomorrow have been cancelled.
Who does this apply to?
For bookings that meet these conditions:

Tickets purchased up to 25 June 2026.

Flights with origin or destination in Caracas operated by the Iberia Group (Iberia, Iberia Express and Air Nostrum).

Original flight date from 25 June to 25 July 2026.
What options do we offer?

Change the date of travel to fly up to 15 August 2026.

Change the origin or destination to travel from or to Bogotá or Panama City.

Request a refund to the original form of payment or as a voucher.
Important: 1 change is permitted. These alternatives apply when any of the outbound or return flights in the trip are affected by this situation. For customers with cancelled flights, the corresponding change or refund options will apply.
How can you make the change?
If you purchased your ticket on iberia.com or through our Call Centre, please check whether the date change or voucher request is already available.
If you purchased your ticket through a travel agency, you must contact the agency to process the changes.
