All our menus are inspired by the characteristic flavours of Spain using fresh seasonal products and paying meticulous attention to the preparation of every dish. We recently introduced a Gastrobar service with a varied selection of savoury snacks (crisps, pretzels, etc.), confectionary (chocolate bars and assorted sweets) and alcoholic beverages for you to enjoy while you watch a film or simply sit back and relax.

You'll be able to choose from the menus created by our catering partner DO & CO, featuring freshly prepared dishes made with local, seasonal products and a distinct Spanish flavour. Depending on the time of day and the destination of your flight, we offer breakfast or a mid-morning snack, lunch or dinner, all beautifully presented with our new table linen and crockery. For flights lasting more than 2 and a half hours, we offer lunch or dinner with of a main course, including a vegetarian option.

On flights of over 4 and a half hours* we offer breakfast, lunch and/or dinner, depending on the time of day. For flights with a shorter duration, you can buy a varied selection of sweet and savoury snacks from our Gastrobar service. You can also pre-order your menu online through pre-order.iberia.com and we'll bring it to your seat. The online menu includes fresh, healthy products such as vegan and salmon pokes, salads, pasta, burgers and desserts.

Flights for all tastes
You can request different types of special food at least 24 hours before your flight departure. If you are allergic to any type of food, we recommend that you bring your own food aboard as Iberia cannot guarantee the complete absence of traces in your special menu due to the complex production and boarding process.
Who can request a special meal?

Passengers travelling in Business Class: on all flights with a duration of 90 minutes or more.

Passengers travelling in Economy Class: on all flights with a duration of 4.5 hours or more.
Special meals currently cannot be ordered on short and medium-haul flights departing very early in the morning or on flights originating in Dakar.
How can I request my special meal?
Once you have your flight booking confirmed, you can request a special meal at Booking management. On some journeys we may not able to provide a special meal due to the lack of availability of this type of food by some providers.

Vegetarian Asian meal
Does not contain: fish, seafood, meat, poultry or eggs. Spicy, meat-free meal.

Vegan meal
Does not contain: meat, fish, poultry, eggs, honey, dairy products or derivatives (If vegan is not specified, an ovo-lacto menu will be provided).

Ovo-lacto vegetarian meal
Does not contain: meat, fish or seafood. May contain dairy products such as milk, butter, cheese and eggs.

Low-fat meal
High-fibre meal with reduced fat quantities.

Low-lactose meal
Excludes cheese, dairy products and derivatives, as well as lactose or milk products. Only suitable for lactose intolerance (Not suitable for allergies).

Low-calorie meal
Low-fat and low-sugar meals with reduced protein. Fried and high-fat foods such as animal fat, patés, seafood, high-fat cheese, dried fruit and sausages are eliminated.

Low-salt meal
The use of salt, monosodium glutamate (MSG) salt and sodium bicarbonate/powdered yeast, cured fish and meat, sausages, sauces, instant purées, pickles, seafood, vegetables and tinned meat and fish are eliminated. In their place, herbs and spices are used to provide flavour to the food.

Meal for diabetics
The foods excluded are sugars, syrups, marmalades, cakes and chocolate, fried and high-fat foods, unless they are specifically made for diabetics and which help to manage blood sugar levels.

Foods excluded are wheat, wheat flour, barley, oats and rye, bread, cakes (unless they do not contain wheat), pastries, sausages and any product made with flour. Only suitable for gluten intolerance. (Not suitable for allergies)

Does not contain: pork, pork sub-products or foods which contain alcohol. All meats come from ritually sacrificed animals.

Does not contain: veal, veal derivatives, beef or pork.
We cannot offer variations of the meals indicated above.
Food allergies
We offer a wide range of special meals to manage intolerances but we cannot guarantee that the cabin is completely allergenic-free.
Our dishes are prepared with the highest-quality ingredients, and we make every effort to attend to individuals with food allergies and intolerances. However, it is possible that traces of some ingredients remain in our menus. If you suffer from an allergy, we recommend that you bring your own food on board.
