Hola Geneva!
If you've booked one of our cheap flights to Geneva, this is what you need to know about the city. The most famous city landmark is the Jet d'Eau, an impressive 140-metre-high fountain that dominates Lake Geneva and pumps water into the sky at a speed of 200 km/h. Once a safety valve for a hydraulic power network, today it's the tallest fountain in Europe. Spectacularly illuminated at night, during the day it forms a beautiful rainbow when the sun shines on it.
If you find so much natural beauty overwhelming and want to see what civilisation has to offer, head to the Palace of Nations, the largest United Nations centre in the world after New York, located in one of the city's oldest parks. If you book one of our cheap flights to Geneva, you'll also find yourself in a cultural paradise as this is the European city that dedicates the largest proportion of its budget (20%) to culture. There are plenty of museums to visit, although two of the most interesting are the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum and the Clock Museum.
