a) Non-compliance with accessibility requirements
-
Content structure and semantics
Some pages may have an inappropriate heading structure or elements whose relationships are not correctly defined for assistive technologies.
[Requirement 9.1.3.1 — Information and relationships; requirement 9.2.4.6 — Headings and labels, UNE-EN 301 549:2022]
-
Non-text content
Some icons or graphic elements may lack an appropriate text alternative or have a description that does not correctly represent their function.
[Requirement 9.1.1.1 — Non-text content, UNE-EN 301 549:2022]
-
Use of color
Certain elements may use color as a means of conveying information without always providing an equivalent alternative.
[Requirement 9.1.4.1 — Use of color, UNE-EN 301 549:2022]
-
Text and component contrast
Some text, controls or focus indicators may have insufficient contrast with adjacent elements.
[Requirement 9.1.4.3 — Minimum contrast; requirement 9.1.4.11 — Non-text contrast, UNE-EN 301 549:2022]
-
Content adaptation and reflow
Certain pages or components may present difficulties when content is enlarged or a window or screen with reduced dimensions is used.
[Requirement 9.1.4.10 — Reflow, UNE-EN 301 549:2022]
-
Keyboard navigation
Certain components or functionalities may be difficult to use fully via keyboard.
[Requirement 9.2.1.1 — Keyboard, UNE-EN 301 549:2022]
-
Focus management and visibility
On certain interactive elements, focus may not be sufficiently visible, or some navigation mechanisms may not move it correctly to the destination content.
[Requirement 9.2.4.3 — Focus order; requirement 9.2.4.7 — Focus visible, UNE-EN 301 549:2022]
-
Purpose, name and state of controls
Some links or interactive components may not sufficiently communicate their purpose, name, function, value or state to assistive technologies.
[Requirement 9.2.4.4 — Link purpose in context; requirement 9.4.1.2 — Name, function, value, UNE-EN 301 549:2022]
-
Form fields and instructions
Some fields may not programmatically identify their purpose or have sufficiently accessible labels and instructions.
[Requirement 9.1.3.5 — Identification of input purpose; requirement 9.3.3.2 — Labels or instructions, UNE-EN 301 549:2022]
-
Error identification and correction
In certain processes, it may be difficult to identify errors, associate them with the corresponding field or understand how to correct them.
[Requirement 9.3.3.1 — Error identification; requirement 9.3.3.3 — Suggestions for errors, UNE-EN 301 549:2022]
-
Time limits and session expiration
In certain authenticated areas, the session may expire automatically without always providing the user with prior notice or sufficient mechanisms to manage the available time.
[Requirement 9.2.2.1 — Adjustable timing, UNE-EN 301 549:2022]
-
Changes and status messages
Certain changes occurring during interaction may not be correctly announced by screen readers.
[Requirement 9.4.1.3 — Status messages, UNE-EN 301 549:2022]
-
Generated documents
Some documents generated during OnBusiness processes may not have a sufficiently accessible structure to be interpreted using screen readers or other assistive technologies.
-
[Applicable requirements of Chapter 10 — Non-web documents, UNE-EN 301 549:2022]
-
b) Disproportionate burden
When preparing this statement, the disproportionate burden exception was not invoked to justify the non-compliances identified in the OnBusiness assessments.
-
c) Content outside the scope of the accessibility requirements
Only the exceptions expressly provided for in the applicable legislation fall outside the scope, including certain prerecorded multimedia content and office documents published before 28 June 2025, third-party content that is not financed, developed or controlled by Iberia, and content considered archival, provided that the legally established conditions are met.
These possible exclusions do not prevent Iberia from making accessibility improvements to such content.
-
d) Alternatives while barriers are being corrected
While corrective measures are being implemented, users who encounter difficulties completing a transaction in the application can use www.iberia.com and/or the alternative support and management channels.
