Fare flexibility due to railway accident in Andalusia
Due to the tragic railway accident that occurred on 18 January, Iberia has implemented the following measures to facilitate mobility for citizens on routes with origin/destination in Andalusia:

If you are flying up to 2 February 2026, from or to Madrid and with final destination/origin Seville, Málaga, Valencia, Almería, Granada and Jerez on flights operated by Iberia, and you purchased your ticket directly on our website or through our Reservations Offices by 19 January 2026, you may change your travel date to fly up to 28 February 2026. If you purchased your ticket through a travel agency, please contact them to modify your booking.

Customers holding a train ticket to Madrid with a connecting flight to any destination within the Iberia network may also change their travel date or request a refund in the form of a voucher.

Adverse weather conditions in the Iberian Peninsula
As a result of the weather conditions forecast for the Iberian Peninsula, our flights may be affected.
If you are flying to/from Madrid between January 28 and 30 on flights operated by Iberia, Iberia Express, or Iberia Regional Air Nostrum, and you purchased your ticket directly from our websites or our Call Centers by January 28, you can rebook on any flight on the same route or within 150 km until February 15, 2026. If you purchased your ticket through a travel agency, please contact them directly.

Flight flexibility due to the situation in Caracas
Due to the latest developments in the city of Caracas, we are issuing this flexibility policy for customers who need to change their travel plans.
If you are flying up to 30 April 2026, with origin/destination Caracas on flights operated by Iberia, and you purchased your ticket directly on our website or through Serviberia by 28 January 2026, you may change your booking date to travel up to 31 May 2026 and change your destination to the following airports: Caracas (CCS), Miami (MIA), Panama City (PTY), Bogotá (BOG), Santo Domingo (SDQ), San Juan (SJU), Havana (HAV), Quito (UIO) and Guayaquil (GYE). If you purchased your ticket through a travel agency, please contact them to modify your booking.
