What do I do if I've forgotten my password or my Iberia Club account has been blocked?

If you've forgotten your password, you'll have to click on “Login > Forgotten your password?” (at the top right-hand corner of the website) and enter your email or Iberia Club number (if your email is linked to more than one Iberia Club account). We'll send you an email with instructions on how to reset your password. Remember, you will need to change this password within 3 hours. You should also delete your browser history and passwords on Iberia.com before you carry out this process.

If the password has expired, follow the instructions prompted by the system when you enter it. Remember, you must choose a different password. You can change it in the following menu: My Profile > Account Settings > Security and Login.

If your account has been blocked, contact us via this form.

Your Iberia Club card never needs to be reactivated, not even after a period of inactivity.

What perks do I get with oneworld as an Iberia Club cardholder?

If you are an Iberia Club member, you can collect and use Avios with any airline in the oneworld Alliance without being a member of their frequent traveller programmes. Furthermore, if your Iberia Club level is Plata or above, you will be eligible for preferential check-in, seat selection, extra baggage, priority on waiting lists and other advantages. Iberia Plus becomes Iberia Club

Iberia Plus continues to evolve to adapt to new ways of travelling: from 1 April 2025, it is becoming Iberia Club and introducing important new features and more benefits for you:

  • Elite Points will be earnt for every euro spent, rather than per distance travelled, and can be earnt with the brands that are included in the programme.

  • A new level is added to the programme: Platino Prime, a higher category with more advantages.

What do I do if my Iberia Club card gets lost, stolen or damaged?

As part of our goal to become climate neutral, all our cards are digital. It helps us to avoid using plastic and you receive it immediately on your mobile device.
You can download your virtual card by signing in to "Iberia Club> My Iberia Club". Just install the Iberia app for iPhone or Android so you have your card on your phone. You'll also be able to access functions such as bookings and online check-in.

Iberia Club Platino, Platino Prime, Infinita and Infinita Prime members can contact our Iberia Club Service Centre.

What are Elite Points?

Elite Points (EPs) help you to upgrade or keep your Iberia Club Plata, Oro, Platino, Platino Prime, Infinita or Infinita Prime tier. We use them to reward your activity as a member, and to enable you to unlock exclusive additional benefits between levels.
They are recorded from 1 April of the current year to 31 March of the following year. The EPs collected during that period will determine your Iberia Club tier.

You get Elite Points in the following ways:

You can see how many Elite Points you have collected in your private area: My Iberia Club > Avios.
You can't buy, gift or transfer Elite Points, and you can't earn them when you purchase tickets with Avios.

When does my Iberia Club card expire?

Iberia Club Clásica cards never expire. For all other levels you can find the expiry date on the digital card that you can find by logging in to Iberia Club > My Iberia Club > Iberia Club Card.
When the level of your card expires, you can download your digital card again with the new expiry date and remove the expired card.

Are there instances where I might collect Avios but not Elite Points?

There are some operations where only your number of Avios will increase, but not your Elite Points:

  • Transfer and gift of Avios.

  • Conversion of the currency of another loyalty programme to Iberia Club Avios.

  • Welcome Avios (e.g. when signing up for a new credit card).

  • Promotional Avios collected with Iberia Club bonus rewards.

  • Avios obtained as prizes in competitions and draws (whether for winning or participating).

  • Courtesy Avios awarded as compensation for an incident.

  • Avios collected on flights (such as earning Elite Points on flights directly due to the spend mechanism).

Remember, earning Elite Points for the purchase of tickets and add-on services with Iberia or any partner airlines is subject to the rules of the airline in question. The policy for earning Elite Points for Avios collected only applies to purchases with the brands associated with the programme.

Who collects the Elite Points and Avios: the person who makes the purchase or the person flying?

Regardless of who bought the ticket, the person flying will get the Elite Points and Avios, providing they belong to the Iberia Club programme.

The exception to this rule is combined products purchased through Iberia Vacaciones or BA Holidays (Flight + Car and Flight + Hotel holiday packages): the person who purchase the package will get all the associated Elite Points (1 Elite Point for every 10 Avios collected). These Elite Points are only associated with the purchase of the holiday package.
The Elite Points and Avios associated with the flight will be collected by each passenger individually.

What do I need to join Iberia Club?

It you don't belong to Iberia Club yet, you can join on Iberia.com. Just fill in a short registration form.
You can download the virtual card from the Iberia app on your smartphone at any time. For more information, contact your Iberia Club Service Centre.

How do I access my Iberia Club personal area?

At the top of the Home page you'll see the Iberia Club tab and the boxes to enter the number of your Iberia Club card number or your email, and just below that your password.
If you don't belong to Iberia Club yet, you can join on Iberia.com by filling in a short registration form.

You can also link your Iberia Club profile to social media (Facebook and LinkedIn) from the same tab.

How do I download my Iberia Club card to my phone?

To keep your Iberia Club card in your Wallet or Passbook, you first need to download the Iberia app. Once you've done that, follow these steps:

  • Inside the Iberia app, register with your card number or your email and password (if you don't have one or can't remember it, we'll send a new one to your email address).

  • Next, go to My Iberia Club (top right-hand corner).

  • Select Download card, just below the image, and your card will be added to your smartphone. Remember, for Android you need to install an app that stores pkpass files.

  • Now close the Iberia app and open the Wallet app (or other installed app). You'll see your card there and will be to show it to any partner who can read the QR code.

  • If your Iberia Club level changes, you will need to download your new card again from your profile in the app.

How does the Iberia Club card work?

Get your free Iberia Club card and use it to collect Avios which you can then swap for flights and services with the programme partners. It couldn't be easier. Register and start earning Avios on all your flights and with more than 90 partners.

Collect Elite Points when you fly with the Iberia Group, Vueling and airlines in the oneworld Alliance, and you'll be able to move up through the Iberia Club levels and enjoy more exclusive perks and benefits.

And for our youngest customers (between ages 2 and 11), Iberia Club Kids is another personalised card with the same advantages as the Clásica card and special offers with our partners.
To get the Iberia Club card for your children between ages 12 and 17, fill in the registration form on the Iberia Club Kids (you have to do it on their behalf because they are under the legal age).

Iberia Club Kids

Iberia Club Kids offers a personalised card for children between ages 2 and 11 with the same benefits as the Clásica card and special offers with our partners for our youngest customers.
To get the Iberia Club card for your children between ages 12 and 17, fill in the registration form on the Iberis Club Kids, you have to do it on their behalf because they are under the legal age.

I have more than one Iberia Club account. Can I merge them?

You can merge several Iberia Club cards into one account if you can prove they belong to the same person. To do this, fill in this form and upload the required documents.

How do I edit my personal details in Iberia Club?

If you're a registered user of Iberia Club, sign in and update your personal information comfortably from My Iberia > My Profile > Personal data.
You can't edit your first name, surname, ID document and date of birth from iberia.com. Please use this form.
