Earthquake in northern Venezuela
Due to the earthquake in northern Venezuela and the closure of Caracas airport, some of our flights may be affected. Therefore, we are applying the following flexible travel policy.
Who does it apply to?
To bookings that meet these conditions:

Tickets purchased up to 25 June 2026.

Flights with origin or destination in Caracas operated by the Iberia Group (Iberia, Iberia Express and Air Nostrum).

Original flight date from 25 June to 25 July 2026.
What options do we offer?

Change the date of your trip to fly until 15 August 2026.

Change the origin or destination to travel from or to Bogotá or Panama City.

Request a refund in the form of a voucher.
Important: 1 change is permitted. These alternatives apply when any of the flights in the trip, outbound or return, is affected by this situation.
For customers with cancelled flights, the corresponding change or refund options will apply.
How do I manage my booking?
If you purchased your ticket on iberia.com, through the App or via our Contact Centre, check whether you can now change your flight or request a refund online easily.
If you purchased your ticket through a travel agency, you need to contact the agency to process any changes.
