Restrictions applied by the Austrian government for COVID-19

Due to the restrictions applied by the Austrian government for sanitary reasons (COVID-19), some of our flights have been affected.

Faced with this situation beyond Iberia's control, customers with an Iberia operated 075 ticketed issued by 22 November to or from Viena airport who flight up to 12 December 2021, may rebook to an alternative date until 31 January, 2022*. Also you can request a refund in the form of a voucher. If you bought your ticket to fly with us through a travel agency, you must consult the agency to modify your booking.

* Blackout Periods:

  • From 3 to 12 December, 2021.
  • From 17 December, 2021 to 9 January, 2022

Traveling to the U.S. with dogs / cats

Starting July 14, 2021, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has issued a temporary suspension of dogs (carry-on or checked), including fully-trained service dogs, traveling to the U.S. from a country considered high-risk for dog rabies.

Only service dogs traveling to the U.S. from high-risk countries with an approved CDC Dog Import Permit may fly. Cats from high-risk countries will not be accepted as carry-on or checked pets during the suspension.

Flight updates due to the evolution of Coronavirus

Due to COVID-19 and the restrictions applied by certain countries, we're extending our flexible fare policy to flights operated by Iberia, Iberia Express and Iberia Regional Air Nostrum. You can find the details below. We're offering you the option of requesting a voucher for the ticket amount through Booking Management.
