GETTING AVIOS AND ELITE POINTS

For each flight with Alaska Airlines you can collect:

  • Avios, a credit that builds up in your Iberia Plus balance, exchangeable for flights and other opportunities offered by the Program.

  • Elite Points, a credit obtained exclusively for flights and which determines whether elite card levels should be kept and/or accessed.

REMARKS ABOUT AVIOS AND ELITE POINTS:

  • Iberia reserves the right to modify these tables.

  • Iberia reserves the right to exclude tariffs from the receipt of Elite Points and Avios. Check the general programme conditions

  • Codeshare flights booked with the code of a carrier associated to Iberia but operated by a company not associated to Iberia do not meet the requirements for the award of Avios and Elite Points.

  • Just flights from April 1st 2021 will be elegible to be credited. 

  • Alaska Airlines Business class is called ‘First’ but Avios and Puntos Elite are awarded as business class

  • Iberia reserves the right to modify this Avios use table.

  • Booking and issue of tickets charged to your Avios for flights operated by Alaska Airlines and code AS are exempt from booking fees if made through the private area of Iberia.com. There will be an additional charge per ticket when the booking is made through its Contact Center (except for Platinum clients, who are exempt).

  • The class Full Economy is only available in combination with flights with Iberia Group.
