Iberia and Mercado Pago join forces to promote connectivity
With this union, customers will be able to access new payment methods for the purchase of plane tickets and any airline service through the Mercado Pago digital account.
Iberia and Mercado Pago have reached an agreement to facilitate the purchase process for customers from Argentina and Mexico who want to connect with the rest of the world and travel through the airline's network.
Thanks to this alliance, any user will be able to purchase their Iberia tickets through the Mercado Pago platform quickly and safely, using the different options available such as Money on Account or credit card.
In addition to Argentina and Mexico, in the coming months it will also be available in other Latin American markets.
Iberia is making an important commitment during 2024 to Latin America, a region in which Argentina and Mexico are two of the main protagonists. Specifically, the airline offers three daily flights connecting Argentina and Mexico with Europe, which allows more than 2,000 people to be transported daily between both continents on each route.
