    EARNING ELITE POINTS AND AVIOS

    For each flight you take with a Cathay Pacific (CX) code, you can earn:

    • Avios, the currency you accumulate in your balance to redeem for flights, accommodation, car hire, leisure experiences, and more.

    • Elite Points which you use to move up or maintain your level in Iberia Club. They also grant access to Elite Rewards, exclusive gifts that you obtain along the way to a new level.

     

    EARNING AVIOS

    Earning Avios on direct flights with a Cathay Pacific (CX) code is based to the actual distance flown in miles and the flight class (Cabin), per flight.

    • Iberia reserves the right to modify this Avios use table.

    • Booking and issue of tickets charged to your Avios for Cathay Pacific are exempt from booking fees, but only if made through Iberia.com.
      There will be an additional charge per ticket when the booking is made through its Service Center (except for Platinum clients, who are exempt).

    • The class Full Economy is only available in combination with flights with Iberia Group.
