Tropical storm affecting Florida
Due to tropical storm in Florida that could affect our operation, we offer the following flexibility to our customers..
In view of this situation beyond Iberia's control, if you are flying to or from Miami between 8 and 10 October, with tickets issued on our websites or Serviberia until 8 October, 2024, you may change your reservation on any flight on the same route or up to 300 km away, until 17 October,2024. If you have purchased your ticket to travel with us through a travel agency, you must contact them to change your booking.

Improvement works at Barcelona airport security filters from 30 September onwards
Due to the improvement works that AENA will carry out at the security checkpoint of BCN airport, we recommend arriving at the airport earlier than usual to avoid delays in accessing the boarding area.

Flying with dogs to the United States and Puerto Rico
The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have established additional requirements, effective from 1 August 2024, for the admission of all dogs into the country, regardless of whether they are travelling in the cabin, in the hold as checked baggage, and even if they are assistance dogs. More information on the new regulations is available on the CDC website.
One of the new requirements is the completion of this official form a few days before the date of travel. In the yellow box at the top of the form, you must state whether or not the dog has been in a country or region at high risk of rabies infection in the last six months. If that is the case, you will have to fill in some additional information on the form.
Once you have submitted the form, you will receive a receipt that you must show in printed or digital format at the Iberia check-in desk both on the day of your departure flight and when you arrive in the United States, along with any other required documents for your dog.
If your dog has been in a high-risk area and you do not have a valid vaccination certificate issued in the United States, or an export health certificate approved by the USDA, it can only be admitted through one of the six airports that have CDC animal care facilities: Atlanta, Los Angeles, Washington, New York, Miami or Philadelphia. You must also pre-book your dog's stay at these facilities.

Flight flexibility due to the events in Israel
Due to the events in Israel, our flights to/from Tel-Aviv can be affected.
Faced with this situation beyond Iberia's control, if you are flying to or from Tel-Aviv on flights operated by Iberia, Iberia Express, with a ticket purchased directly through our websites or Serviberia until 19th August, have the possibility of booking on any flight on the same route or to Athens or Cairo. If you bought your ticket to fly with us through a travel agency, you must consult the agency to modify your booking.
