    How can I earn Avios?

    Step 1

    Join Iberia Club and start earning Avios.

    Step 2

    Book your Flight + Car for the duration you require. You can choose a convenient pick-up and drop-off point.

    Step 3

    Add your Iberia Club membership number at the time of booking.
    The extra Avios will credited within four to six weeks of your completed holiday.

    Earning Avios

    • 1 Avios for every 1€ you spend on Flight + Car packages with Iberia

    • 1 Elite Point for every 10 Avios earned on the Iberia travel package.

    • Plus the Avios and Elite Points that each passenger accumulates for the flight1.

    • For the car element you will earn 5 Avios per €1 on Avis and 2 Avios per €1 on Budget.

     

    Terms and conditions  (1 Avios Extra for every 1€ spent)

    • Extra Avios are awarded when you book a Flight + Hotel or Flight + Car package.

    • An eligible booking is any of the above products booked on Iberia.com, the offer does not apply to any bookings made with partners via external sites.

    • Extra Avios are awarded in addition to the Avios and Elite points you'll collect for the flight and car elements of your booking.

    • Collect 1 extra Avios for every 1€ spent on a holiday.

    • Extra Avios are awarded to the lead passenger on the booking only.

    • The lead passenger's Iberia Club account will be credited with the applicable extra Avios approximately four to six weeks after the trip is completed.

    • If your booking is cancelled no Avios will be awarded.

    • Avios are only awarded to Iberia Club Members. For Flight + Hotel or Flight + Car bookings the flight element of the booking must originate in Spain and match the member's registered country to be eligible for extra Avios.

     

    Earning Elite Points

    • The accrual of Elite Points on Flight + Car packages is linked to the earning of Avios on these packages; therefore the Terms and Conditions for the Earning of Avios detailed in the preceding section apply.

    • You will earn 1 Elite Point for every 10 Avios spent on the Flight + Car package.

    • The Elite Points for the package will be credited only to the Iberia Club account of the main passenger.

    • In converting 10 Avios into 1 Elite Point, the amount will be rounded down (for example, any total between 11 and 19 Avios will equate to 1 Elite Point).

    • The credited Elite Points are in addition to the regular Elite Points each passenger accumulates through the flights included in the package, and those earned through the conversion of the Avios from the car hire included in the package (at a rate of 1 Elite Point for every 10 Avios).
