A program developed by the United States Department of Homeland TSA Security to speed up and expedite the security screening process at airports.
Enjoy expedited security screening by keeping on your shoes, light jacket, and belt and keep your laptops and liquids in your carry-on luggage.
You fill in an online application and enter various personal details for vetting by the United States Department of Homeland Security TSA.
Next, you arrange an in-person appointment to complete your enrollment.
Once everything has been approved, you'll receive a KTN (Known Traveller Number) and add it to your airline reservation, and your frequent traveler profile. Your KTN identifies you as a traveller authorised to use the service and the TSA PreCheck indicator will appear on your boarding pass.
Once you have been approved and received your KTN, your TSA PreCheck membership will be valid for five years. Be sure to renew when you receive a reminder email to ensure continuation of TSA PreCheck benefits.
The TSA PreCheck program is only available for citizens of the United States, with US nationality or Green Card holders (legal permanent residents). Members of the Global Entry, NEXUS and SENTRI programs allow some foreign nationals to apply.
TSA PreCheck is only available at US airports and Nassau, Bahamas (NAS) airport.
You can add your KTN from Booking Management or when you check in.
You may consult https://ttp.dhs.gov/.
First, check that your membership has not expired by looking up your account https://tsaenrollmentbyidemia.tsa.dhs.gov/ktn-lookup.
If still active, confirm with Iberia that your Known Traveler Number, name, and date of birth are accurate. If you still do not have a TSA PreCheck indicator on your boarding pass, please call the TSA Contact Center at (866) 289-9673, submit an online form, or contact @AskTSA on X and Facebook Messenger.
Please contact TSA within 72 hours of experiencing problems with your TSA PreCheck benefits to allow TSA the ability to troubleshoot the issue.
