Iberia Unveils New Long-Haul Menus Featuring Customers' Favourite Dishes

Customers can enjoy a selection of their favourite dishes from recent years across all cabins

Iberia has introduced new menus on its long-haul flights departing from Madrid, featuring a selection of dishes that have proved most popular with customers in recent years. The new culinary offering has been designed to deliver an even more enjoyable onboard dining experience, with a carefully curated selection of recipes that reflects customers' preferences.

Business: Customer favourites return

Customers travelling in Business can once again enjoy a selection of dishes that have consistently ranked among the cabin's favourites. New starters include salmon tartare with avocado, pickled vegetables, radish and berries served on a horseradish cream—a fresh dish full of vibrant flavours and contrasting textures.

For the main course, one of the highlights is grilled beef tenderloin, cooked in its own juices and served with potato gratin and seasonal vegetables, bringing together classic flavours and contemporary presentation. The meal concludes with a chocolate tartlet with hazelnut praline, providing the perfect sweet finish to the dining experience.

Premium Economy brings back one of its most popular dishes

One of Premium Economy's most highly rated dishes is making a return to the menu: braised beef cheeks, served with glazed carrots, broccolini and white bean purée. The dish returns following its popularity with customers in previous menu rotations.

Greater variety in Economy

The refreshed Economy menu introduces a greater rotation of dishes throughout the year, giving customers more choice across the seasons. Passengers can choose between a beef burger with Café de Paris butter, served with peas, sautéed green beans and potato purée, or meatballs in romesco sauce with Padrón peppers and potato gratin.

These dishes will alternate with other chicken-based options, broadening the variety of recipes available and catering to a wider range of tastes.

An onboard dining experience that continues to evolve

The new menus form part of Iberia's ongoing commitment to enhancing the travel experience through a high-quality culinary offering. The selection combines carefully sourced ingredients with well-balanced recipes and customer favourites, reinforcing gastronomy as one of the distinctive features of the airline's onboard experience.

New seasonal treats in Iberia's Premium Lounges

Alongside the new onboard menus, Iberia is also introducing new sweet treats for the summer season in its Premium Lounges at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport. Until 15 September, both the Dalí Lounge and the Velázquez Lounge will offer customers a curated selection of Magnum mini ice creams.

In addition, the Velázquez Lounge will feature an exclusive seasonal experience. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until 13 September, customers will be able to enjoy ice cream served from a traditional ice cream cart while waiting for their flight.
